The J. J. Keller® Encompass® ELD app is a driver electronic log that is regarded as the most user-friendly, versatile, and cost-effective solution in the industry. Formerly known as KellerMobile, this app is designed to comply with ELD mandates and is widely used by commercial motor vehicle drivers to digitally record their hours-of-service duty status, eliminating the need for traditional paper log books. With its intuitive interface, the app provides drivers with easy access to their hours-of-service data, allowing them to efficiently manage their on-duty and driving hours and minimize the risk of violations. Compatible with class 1-8 vehicles, it also offers a wide range of industry and state-specific HOS rulesets, accommodating various types of drivers.

The Encompass® ELD app fully complies with ELD (Part 395 Subpart B and Part 395 Appendix) regulations and is listed on the FMCSA ELD registry. It is an integral part of the comprehensive J. J. Keller® Encompass® Fleet Management System, which includes the J. J. Keller® electronic logging device and the Encompass® back-office portal.

HOW DOES IT WORK:

The Encompass® ELD app captures hours-of-service and telematics data by connecting to the engine's diagnostic port through a hardline adapter. The hardware continually records and stores engine data, which is then transmitted via Bluetooth to the Encompass® ELD application on drivers' iPhone® or iPad® devices. Real-time hours-of-service data and alerts are presented to drivers based on compliance rulesets determined by their company. Data from the iPhone® or iPad® device is transmitted via cellular connection to the Encompass® online back-office portal for auditing, reporting, and recordkeeping purposes.
